Why should I use a freelancer?
There are many benefits of approaching a freelancer linguist instead of a translating/interpreting agency or a company with your work. The main advantages are:
• A direct point of contact for managing the task in hand, negotiating deadlines and addressing any bespoke requirements;
• Lower costs and reduced turnaround times;
• Assistance outside of normal office hours;
• A guarantee of continuity and consistency in multi-phase projects and recurring assignments.

How much will it cost?
As an independent translator and interpreter, I offer competitive pricing based on the complexity and the urgency and size of your project in case of translations, and timings in respect of interpreting assignments. If you would like to get a free no-obligation quote or discuss your pricing options, please contact me directly using the contact form.

Can the translation be certified?
I provide certified translations which are accepted by all public institutions in the UK. The translation can also be notarised before a notary public. In the British law system, there are no sworn translators that exist in civil law countries so an officially recognised translation is a self-certified one. ‘Certifying’ does not mean better quality of the translation but it is there to identify the translator and make them accountable. It is always worth checking the type of legalisation required for the translated documents as the requirements may vary in non-UK jurisdictions. For more details about certified translations, please go to my blog.
